CAT AND DOG FLEAS  The most common flea in our area is the Cat Flea.    A big misconception is you must have a pet with fleas but that is not true.  Fleas are smart little critters!  They can hitch hike on your pants or shoes into your home.  Your home to them is a climate controled paradise.  Fleas make themselves at home in your carpet, furniture and rugs.  When there is a pet present it is a smart move on the human part to treat the pet and the house on the same day.  In our Hampstead's do it yourself shop we have just what it takes to erradicate these pests.  We have Flea Maxx 2000 and several different flea applications for your pet.

Should you decide it is too overwhelming to do it yourself call our office for a flea spray.  There are a few preparations you will need to do before you treat them yourself or have our company do it for you.

Be sure to vacumn your home constantly til we get there.  Always empty the bag after each vacumn.  If it is a bagless vacumn take it outside far from the house and empty it.  Once you have applied the Flea Maxx 2000 or after we have sprayed the house wait 4 to 5 days and then start vacumning again.  Vacuming allows the eggs to hatch our and become exposed to the chemical application.  Over a period of 2 to 4 weeks your home will become flea free!

Fleas can carry serveral different types of disease such as Typhus and Plague.  So it is important to get rid of the pests as soon as possible.

While you are treating your home for fleas think about your pets.  We have everything you need to give your pets flea relief.  We carry frontline plus for cats and Advantix for cats and dogs.  We have flea collars, dips, shampoos and conditioners for the sensitive skin.  We have a full line of Green products for the enviromentally friendly household.  So give us a call or drop by any weekday from 8 til 5.
